Sky Technologies is a small company looking for an Office Manager. We specialize in fiber optic and network cabling and also do camera systems, AV and other low voltage cabling. Main responsibilities are to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organization, effectiveness, communication, and safety.
Hours: Part time Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Times can be flexible as long as they are between 7-5pm. Approximately 10-20 hours/week.
Pay based upon experience between $15-20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Schedule meetings, appointments, and service calls
Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment
Help with organization and efficiency for crews
Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
Work with management to update and maintain office policies
Organize office operations and procedures
Provide general support to visitors
Do bookkeeping, invoicing for storage space renters
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware, and travel arrangements)
Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services
Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences
Handle basic HR items for other employees
Build and set up our marketing platform (website, facebook, mailing and google)
Requirements
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Experience in HR is a plus
