SUMMARY OF POSITION: The General Manager is a proven leader, with 3-5 years of business experience, preferably in the sign and graphics industry, who will guide and support a growth-minded culture and team that is dedicated to delivering an unparalleled customer experience while driving business development and revenue growth. The General Manager holds the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations with an expectation of taking full ownership for the fluidity of processes in each aspect of the business.
The GM will work with the team members to ensure superior quality products are produced within the specified customer timelines. This position is responsible for ensuring that daily structure and focuses are upheld by the entire team, that the workflow process is followed with consistency, and in overall customer satisfaction. The GM is responsible for achieving targeted results in the areas of financial sustainability and will meet regularly to report target updates with the ownership group. They will control costs, develop capabilities, focus on efficiencies, and are results oriented.
The GM will work with the team to make sure the following tasks are completed on a daily basis:
Provides Project Estimates and Customer Follow-up
Effective and Efficient Management of Projects
Implement Target Marketing Initiatives
Contacting Dormant Customer Accounts
Develop Internet Sales Lead Management
Collect on Account Receivables
Coordinate Financial Reports with Ownership Group
Our General Manager will also hold responsibility of additional sales, marketing and branding initiatives as warranted and discussed with the owner/management team.
Qualifications / Skills:
Sign Industry Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven leader, Effective Team Builder
Professional, upbeat, positive attitude
Sharp attention to detail
Keen multi-tasking abilities
Self-motivated and team player
Ability to continue and build professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base
Previous experience in business-to-business customer service a plus
Previous sales experience a plus
Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products a plus but not necessary
