Front Counter Sales/Rental Clerk (Fairbanks)

Independent Rental is a Fairbanks family owned equipment / event rental company. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing individual to join us at the front counter!

Exceptional customer service skills a must.

Front Counter Sales/Rental Clerk duties include but are not limited to:

Creating rental contracts / reservations

Assist customers with choosing appropriate tools/equipment for their projects

Overseeing storage services: new customers, move-in/out, maintaining storage customer files and accounts, collecting payments

Cash handling / handling of sensitive information / payment processing

Assisting with inventory database updates / maintenance

Help maintain showroom, restock retail items

Other duties as assigned

As one of the first points of contact, the front counter sales/rental clerk is the face of the company. Candidates are expected to dress accordingly, i.e. clean appearance and work wear (Independent Rental shirt provided).

Expectation: Provide superior customer service while working in a fast paced environment with multiple moving parts.
