What You’ll Be Doing:Evolent Health is looking for a Director to serve as a strategic HR business partner (HRBP) to senior department leaders and their leadership teams. The HRBP acts as a consultant and operator to management on people-related activities and is viewed as the expert on driving organizational performance. The HRBP thrives on building, protecting, and sustaining a special culture that is key to Evolent’s success and mission. This role will collaborate and leverage the broader Talent team on people initiatives for the organization. This individual will have a passion for great leadership and a desire to develop and grow people.What You’ll Be Doing:

Serving as primary talent business partner to Evolent Health Services Business Unit(s) and their leadership team(s)

Taking accountability for development of talent strategy and execution of complex programs to ensure success of the assigned business unit’s Talent objectives

Extensive leadership coaching and partnering to effectively drive collaboration and communication of the leadership team

Leading change management to prepare and gain employee acceptance to business changes

Program management to organize all Talent projects as the business scales up, down or reorganizes internally

Using data to analyze trends and metrics in partnership with our Talent team to be able to recommend solutions, programs and policies that align to the data

Expertly diagnosing organizational effectiveness environment and delivering solutions that balance increased performance, employee engagement, and retention

Participating in organizational and learning development efforts to include hands-on planning and action to support growth and expansion of organization

Partnering and collaborating with central talent functions to design, develop, and deliver programs in support of Evolent’s and business units desired culture inclusive of Performance Management cycle

Supporting employee relations and performance matters for business units

The Experience We Prefer:

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experiences

At least 7 years’ experience as a Human Resources Lead with proven experience working with a senior leadership team to execute on a talent plan

Ability to travel 20% of the time to client/employee locations as needed

Prior business partner experience with a geographically dispersed team

Demonstrated experience in hands-on, fast paced HR business partner role

Experience working with Technology and front-line Healthcare organizations and able to bring specific solutions to operational challenges

Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including learning development, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws

Demonstrated collaboration and consultation skills

Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results

Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation

Technical Requirements:We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
