At Imaging Healthcare Specialists, our team members are the foundation for providing the best patient experience and the best outcomes for our patients. We are looking for Customer Service Representatives for our Athens, Georgia operations center, who will share our relentless focus on the voice of the customerand will strive to be better every day.

The IHS operations center in Athens, GA will provide assistance to patients and referring physicians to process and schedule advanced diagnostic imaging exams utilizing phone calls, faxing, email and electronic messaging.

Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained at a location in Athens, GA which meets all CDC, State, and Local requirements. Training for this position will be Mon-Fri, 11:30-8:00 from October 26-October 30. Once training is complete, there will be shifts available for Full Time and Part Time, Monday - Friday, between 9:30am and 8:30pm and Saturday between 12pm and 4pm.

Please Notes: At this time, where possible, our Team members are working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Once training is completed, candidates will be able to work from home until at least December 1, 2020. Once IHS has determined that it is safe to return to the operations center, employees may be required to work in our Athens GA center.

Essential Duties for the Customer Service Representative

Provide assistance to IHS Patients and Physicians by answering general questions, providing information on IHS operations, and transferring to appropriate departments

Perform data entry for medical imaging orders received verbally and by Fax.

Identify and process documents for medical records, insurance and authorizations, pathology and labs results.

Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret electronic and printed documents with basic medical terminology such as process instructions, safety rules, and clinical forms

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out interactions with customers, while achieving objectives and outcomes.

Computer Skills: Understanding and ability to utilize computer applications, phone system and other electronic resources as needed.

Required for Remote Work

Provided candidates meet the requirements listed below IHS will provide the necessary equipment for remote work setup.

Candidate must agree to IHS remote worker policy and sign the IHS Telecommuting agreement.

Candidate must have a quiet workspace, located at their residence

Must have reliable internet service available of minimum upload 5 MB/s and download 25 MB/s

Candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed
