Job Description:Job Description:We are searching for a Full Stack Cloud Developer to work for a squad under Electronic Channel Applications team in Fidelity Institutional Technology in Merrimack, NH.The Team:The Electronic Channel Applications team is part of the broader Fidelity Institutional Technology group. As a team we partner closely with Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM) to electronic solutions as part of the overall brokerage platform. As a team, we strive to deliver innovative, end to end technical/data solutions for our business partners and customers.The Role:As a Full Stack Cloud Developer, you will work within the Electronic Channel Applications team to build cloud-based, critically important brokerage applications for the enterprise. You will be collaborating with the multiple business units and other brokerage technology teams to develop applications in support of multiple asset classes offered on the brokerage platform to our customer base. This role is passionate about hands-on development and delivery, which requires a combination of good technical skills and participation in architecture, design, and analysis activities.The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills as well as the ability to run with multiple tasks in parallel
  • Ability to thrive in both an independent as well as collaborative team environment depending on the project need
  • Ability to provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team
  • Demonstrated work experience with cloud technologies
  • Industry certifications are welcome, but hands on experience and expertise are most highly valued
  • A deep understanding of various programming languages
  • Experience in Java/J2EE for 5 or more years
  • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and pipelines
  • Experience working projects in Agile environments (Kanban or Scrum)
  • Experience with REST microservice architecture
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) using and writing automated tests (unit, integration, etc.,) with frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring test etc.
  • Experience with S3, Route 53, EC2, EKS, API gateway, Cloud Front, Cloud Trail & Lambda development in AWS, MS-Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience with relational databases is a must. NoSQL database experience is a strong plus
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker)
  • Familiarity with automated deployment in uDeploy or similar pipeline infrastructure
  • Experience using source control for feature-driven development in Git Hub/Bitbucket/Stash
  • Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Apigee)
  • Ability to learn new things, new technology, and tackle problems

  • Actively contribute to the design and implementation of engineering practices such as code and design reviews, cloud strategy, as well as build and deployment pipelines
  • Work with product owner, squad lead and architecture on a frequent, recurring basis to design and influence technical improvements to the platform, team, and application
  • Able to clearly present complex technical solutions, ideas, and plans to senior management, business partners, and less technical stakeholders as needed
  • Develop a keen understanding of the business domain you are working on and actively guide technology discussions with business partners and other external parties
  • Investigate creative practices and decide how to apply them within the team.
