RN or LPN

We are a busy Pediatric practice looking for an RN or LPN to join our healthcare team. This is a fast-paced and family friendly pediatric practice. We are looking for an energetic individual who is a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse that loves kids and loves to smile. This is for a full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

Customer service

Room patients

Evaluation of child including taking vitals & medical history.

Administering immunizations

Schedule appointments

Answer phones

Performing various lab duties: throat cultures, urinalysis, catheterizations, nasal swabs, etc.

Familiar with nebulizer and suctioning equipment

Stocking rooms

Assisting physician when necessary

Cross training with additional duties as assigned

Requirements are:

Active Illinois RN or LPN license

Experience preferred

Current CPR certification

Pediatric office experience helpful

Outgoing energetic personality with a LOVE for children

Team player

Medical terminology

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to communicate, multi-task and time management

Possess exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flow

Communication and problem solving skills necessary

Basic computer skills

Requires extensive standing, bending and lifting
