This position will report to our Director of Operations and will be an integral part of the molding of our Operations department. This is a unique opportunity within a high growth company to lead numerous crucial shop floor improvement projects while also maintaining the hands-on aspect of engineering.The Manufacturing Engineer will have a diverse set of responsibilities involved in manufacturing and quality, including both management and assembly of our products. The ideal candidate for this position would be one with a strong technical background with an eagerness to get hands-on. This position will require a self-motivated individual who can take ownership for responsibilities and outcomes. Scope of Responsibilities:

Support the Director of Operations in day-to-day operational insight, including but not limited to KPIs, Improvements, Issues, etc.

Define goals, improve technologies, and resolve problems in conjunction with managers across the organization.

Identify areas of improvement regarding Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.

Work as a liaison between Management, Engineering, and Operations

Must be able to read technical product prints and perform inspection to the specifications

Support manufacturing team with day to day operations

Perform various assembly tasks

Maintain a clean work environment

Performs other tasks within the scope of the role as necessary

Job Qualifications:

A four-year degree in Engineering or a related field.

2+ years working in a manufacturing environment

Certified Six Sigma preferred

Strong communication/relationship skills with the ability to connect with all levels of the organization.

Ability to thrive in an environment of uncertainty.

Must have advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Access, Word, outlook) with the ability to learn new computer programs as required.

Responsible, self-reliant, and eager to learn new skills

Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvements

Work Environment:

Exposed to a combination of office and shop environments

Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs
