IT Sr. Systems Administrator) in Lynnwood, WA .Job Summary:The Data Governance Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data contained within the A&E applications and infrastructure. The Data Governance Administrator works with the Data Steward to implement and maintain technical solutions in support of established practices, policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with Data Steward, Data Owners and IT to identify known data protection requirements and to define, establish, maintain and communicate data quality, retention, and protection rules and definitions

Lead users through data governance concepts, benefits of policies and procedures and ensure adoption and adherence to the enterprise data governance framework

Leading teams focused on executing data governance initiatives around tools, technologies, resources and processes

Serving as the primary knowledge source and point of escalation for business users for data governance, quality, retention, and protection issues

Leading teams to facilitate issue resolution, responding to regulatory protection requirements, implementing process change, and improving the quality and value of core data assets to support stakeholder objectives and the strategic requirements of the organization

Providing governance leadership to projects involving any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes

Maintains data flow maps for all sensitive data types and ensures technical controls are in place and operating effectively

Defining performance and quality metrics to indicate compliance with data related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities and adoption requirements

Applying data governance concepts, principles and frameworks to execute data profiling, data quality, data catalog, metadata management, and sensitive data management activities

Responsible for Design, implementing, administering and maintaining Azure Information Protection Service / RMS.

Responsible for implementing data loss prevention policies to ensure only authorized distributions are allowed.

Maintaining all data governance artifacts surrounding best practices, standards, tools and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Management, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Four (4) or more years relevant experience in Active Directory, Exchange Online, IRM, RMS, Azure RMS, Azure Information Protection

Good knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data retention and protection

Good knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues

Good knowledge of change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design

Ability to work with diverse teams to develop and implement actions required to meet data compliance standards

Ability to provide guidance throughout the use case development process to ensure the data being used is defined, in compliance, accurate and represented appropriately

Ability to interpret complex business requirements

Ability to solve problems independently and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Ability to identify, challenge and consider opportunities outside of conventional thinking to resolve problems and address gaps

Ability to organize/prioritize work and provide excellent customer service

Ability to maintain knowledge on current and emerging technologies and evaluate the impact of new applications and technologies related to data governance

Ability to perform troubleshooting/root cause analysis to pinpoint issues and devise resolutions for data/reporting issues

Employment Eligibility Requirement:

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and not require Visa sponsorship to be eligible. As a US Department of Defense contractor we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Working Conditions:

Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail

Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
