Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk position is a permanent role in the Boca Raton, Florida, area. Post financial information to journals and ledgers

Handle Accounts Receivable tasks: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes

Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed

Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources

Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

File vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payable

Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis Requirements - 5+ years of accounting experience required

Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended

Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

Order entry experience

Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

Order entry experience preferred

Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

Proven knowledge of Order Fulfillment

Experience with high volume data entry

AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
