NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYAs part of the Field Services organization, this role will be responsible for identifying/creating/refining the technology operational processes that exist within our operations across US/Canada Operations. Further, documents and publishes (via playbooks and other collateral/tools) those processes to facilitate the onboarding and training of associates and ensure the standardized delivery of IT products and services. Develops tools (such as checklists) that strive to eliminate inconsistent practices and establish programmatic approaches to work. Identifies process gaps and the approach to closing those gaps.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired:

7+ years’ progressive experience in support and delivery of IT products or services.

2+ years’ project management experience

2+ years’ experience in defining, documenting, and implementing business plan requirements (system, project, etc.) that include

Exceptional writing skills

Experience in change and/or process management

Occasional travel required

Undergraduate degree or the equivalent training, experience, certifications

Preferred Skills and Attributes

Graduate level training/degree

Project Management certification.

Ability to influence others and build sponsorship for key initiatives/programs.

Ability to implement change and effect accountability.

Ability to quickly gain a clear and comprehensive understanding of optimized IT operations

Strong analytical skills for planning, estimating, budgeting, and monitoring program/project work

Demonstrate a Strategic and Global mindset

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Experience within Lodging or Hospitality industries.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Assesses and evaluates existing processes associated with on-boarding IT associates into the Marriott eco-system

Refines and expands processes as necessary to ensure associates have the appropriate tools and knowledge to be effective in their roles and have consistent on-boarding experience,

Establishes a cadence for reviewing and updating content and tools

Evaluates current demand (both BAU and project efforts) by role in US/Canada to enable the organization to further refine roles and standardize work and delivery expectations

Identifies existing training resources to support associate on-boarding and future technology learning needs.

Drives consistent practices by developing standard work programs (such as checklists and brand playbooks).

Leverages current tools (such as Jira) to design processes to capture market work efforts (in-flight and completed projects)

Collaborates with Program Management team to leverage tools and processes to capture work demand.

Establishes a mean to measure and improve efficiencies (by driving focus on core accountabilities) within the Field Services organization

Functions as an operational expert in understanding the IT needs of all stakeholders, to include US-CAN Field IT, Global Information Security, Global Technology, and the supported properties.

Drives the compliance of IT policies and standards though accountability in creating and revising standards using the SOP framework and ensuring organizational compliance.

Consults with IT Shared Services and above property IT leaders on needs in support of their business processes and direction and implements solutions to meet the business needs

Provides a technical perspective in business language in an influencing and negotiating role.

Collaborates with Change and Communications team to drive transparency and awareness into services provided by US/Canada technology

Establishes and meet aggressive deadlines and high standards of performance.

Promotes the documenting of project progress accurately.

Provides input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.

Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by manager.California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually.Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $185,551.00 annually.New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $113,393.00 to $204,107.00 annually.Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
