Position Purpose:Responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, monitoring, and managing all processes, procedures, and operations related to Customer Support Avionics Sales, and New Product Development and assure all Avionics and Cabin Electronics installations meet customer satisfaction goals.Plan, organize and direct company & supplier resources to meet assigned program cost and schedule milestones. Responsibilities include design oversight and program management of all program schedules, cost/benefit analysis, development, test, certification, licensing/patents, product support, quality, reliability & availability and entry into service issues & activities. Ensures strategies, programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. Develop goals and objectives that challenge individuals to look at new ways to meet customer needs and solve problems in an efficient and profitable manner. Identify, develop and certify strategic programs and projects that meet product support business priorities.Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

Assists Avionics Technical Sales and New Product Development team .

Schedule work for Avionics modification in consultation with site management .

Helps prepare the annual forecast and executes marketing plan for Avionics Sales with Business Development sales team .

Develops Program Strategy, Schedules, & Budgets for Sr. Management review and approval .

Provide daily leadership and direction on project and program initiatives .

Creates, develops and maintains product roadmaps .

Tracks program certification schedule and performance targets/guarantees .

Monitors R&D budgets to achieve lot cost targets and/or desired savings/revenue .

Administers program configuration control activities and develops/updates product specifications .

Monitors quality, reliability and availability issues to ensure top drivers are identified and resolved .

Supports Service Center activities to meet business and customer satisfaction goals .

Manages implementation of Fleet programs to achieve quality, reliability and availability targets/goals .

Additional Functions:

Provide initial Avionics product and market research as it pertains to New Product Development Offerings .

Coordinate with Avionics Planning and Purchasing Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) .

Coordinate with key Avionics Suppliers to ensure product development pipeline .

Coordinates with the Enterprise to maintain Technical and Program updates .

Coordinates with Tech Ops to maintain Technical and Program updates .

Supports supplier design and program reviews to ensure program deliverables, schedules and budgets are met .

Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:

Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream aircraft systems, Engineering, Quality, Material and Service and Support operations.

Requires a detailed understanding of Program/Project Management processes and procedures, and an intimate understanding of service A/C operations.

Requires very strong and oral, written & presentation skills. Regularly communicates with Gulfstream & supplier Sr. management, customers (up to & including A/C owners) as well as functional department management & staff.
