Description We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager with a background in accounting, who is fond of group work and enjoys relating to other people. The firm offering this long-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper role is based in the Denver, Colorado area. Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Manage and review general ledger
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Requirements - Previous experience using accounting software
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Good understanding of Office Administration
Earlier work involving back office support
Bank reconciliations experience
Experience with bookkeeping
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Background working with Administrative Office
QuickBooks experience highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Account reconciliation experience
General familiarity with month end closings
Adeptness in data entry
Practical knowledge of payroll
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
