Description Desktop Support Technicians with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format will find a great opportunity at Robert Half. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary in nature and is located in the Pittsford, New York, area.Major responsibilities- hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions- Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems Requirements - Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals- Desktop support or related experience- Earlier work involving Financial Notes- Solid understanding of customer service- Answering Inbound Calls experience- Hands-on experience with video- Strong familiarity with Compensation Administration- Prior experience with Specification- Well-founded grasp of Workstation Support- Experience with Interpersonal Skills- Operating System experience required- Previous experience working with Spanish Language- Experience with Maintain Logs- Wide ranging experience with travel- Solid understanding of protocols- Expertise in documentation- Solid understanding of Business Intelligence (BI)- Quality experience with digital- Practical knowledge of English Language- Good understanding of Deskside Support- Proven knowledge of research- Skills in Consumer Electronics- Deep understanding of Technical Support- General familiarity with Troubleshoot- Foundational knowledge in Windows OS- Comprehension of CRM- Policy experience preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
