Accounts Payable Specialist

DescriptionOur client is a firm that manages action sports brands headquartered in Costa Mesa that is seeking an accounts payable specialist to their growing team. As the accounts payable specialist, you’ll be responsible for verifying, processing, posting, and reconciling payables. If you strive in a dynamic team environment, we want to talk to you. The job:Review and verify invoices

Sort, code and match invoices

Enter and upload invoices to system

Reconcile vendor statements

Prepare and perform check runs

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Maintain vendor information

Assist with month end close

Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner

Entry of financial transactions in database

Research, track and report on A/P issues and discrepancies

Perform various projects as directed by management

RequirementsYou:3+ years of accounts payable experience

BS/BA in Accounting

Dynamics 365 is preferred

Strong proficiencies in Excel – vlookup and pivot tables required
