Business Analyst

Position summary: The Business Analyst works Client Delivery teams and Technology stakeholders to gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into analysis artifacts from which technical solutions are designed and developed. The Analyst is an active participant in all phases of a project lifecycle and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented and met. Qualifications required:

• Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience
• Successful track record of full SDLC and Agile project team participation
• Proven ability to solicit and document business and functional requirements
• Must have SDLC experience in Waterfall, Agile and Iterative methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, able to stay current with IT and project methodologies
• Ability to articulate business process model, business use cases and be a bridge between product stakeholders and software development teams
• Ability to demonstrate traceability of business requirements through all layers of the system
• Ability to work closely with testing resources to validate and ensure quality and coverage of all systems functionality
• Ability to analyze data and come up with recommendations for improvements to see through to execution
• Ability to translate ideas into executable action items

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with payment processing systems
• Familiarity with records retention and information security policies related to financial institutions
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Project management, CAPPM tool experience is desired
