As Senior Manager, Capture and Proposal Management, you will lead a team responsible for the development and management of relationships between the organization and potential partners/acquisition candidates by establishing and cultivating relationships with customers and key senior leaders. You will assess, develop and execute on long-term opportunities that will expand product or services capabilities for long-term growth. Working with and at times directing the activities of Sales & Business Development team members, the Senior Manager for Capture and Proposal Management will oversee the creation of new business opportunities and insure timely, compliant and effective proposal responses are submitted and result in order generation.

Are you up to the challenge?• Responsible for leading a team that will create, develop and manage the relationships between the organization and customers or potential partners/acquisition candidates by establishing and cultivating relationships with key senior leadership at target companies• Identifies and/or develops new opportunities across the defense market using an analytical and creative approach. These may take the form of partnerships, acquisitions, joint marketing agreements, sale/leaseback of assets, and development of key assets• Serves as project lead and project sponsor for cross-functional teams in the identification and execution of strategic transactions• Responsible for ensuring the coordination, development and submission of compelling and compliant proposals to US Government Request for Proposals• Identifies opportunities for business expansion and develops and manages relationships in strategic markets and accounts that further business development activity• Identifies and directs activities in pursuit of new strategic relationships for the organization• Works with marketing, sales, business development and technology groups to implement business development strategy into specific initiatives• Leads and develops a team that works closely with Sales & Business Development teams to understand capacity and demand challenges in region and targeted vertical markets while looking for solutions

Required Skills• Bachelor’s degree in business or Technical Discipline. (An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered). MBA preferred• Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience including experience leading Business Development, regional/global Sales or Solutions Development team and experience. • Experience leading project and program management teams and the ability to multitask and prioritize• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint• Availability and willingness to travel to meet business needs and requirements• Demonstrated finance and business acumen with experience writing effective business cases• Strong analytical skills, proven challenge identification and resolution skills, effective organizational and planning skills
