In this job, you’ll help Transmission achieve operational and strategic goals by providing visibility to the work it is responsible for completing as part of the Work Planning & Support department within Performance and Master Data Management. This group manages and reports on Transmission metrics and Master Data in support of regulatory compliance, financial standards, and company policies. The position will work closely with multiple groups in Transmission to ensure they have the tools and data to accurately receive and record their work around maintenance and inspections using and processing data from multiple sources and databases including SAP, CMS, DM, Pole Tracker and Survey 123. Entering and ensuring the accuracy of Transmission and Telecom master data including towers, poles, and switches.

Researching and processing asset correction (E2) notifications.

Work with other Master Data teams for best practice sharing and consistency.

Act as key contact for Transmission grids to properly process notifications, and document compliance exceptions.

Act as SME for ensuring accurate documentation and completion of work in SAP.

Assist in pulling of data for requests from multiple sources such as Audits, GRC, NATF, T&D Strategy, and others.

Assist in crafting performance metrics.

Performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

QualificationsThe essentials

Five or more years of experience performing Data Analytics or Data Analysis.

Two or more years of experience with SAP and/or GIS Databases.

Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, charts, and graphing.

The preferred

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience working with Power BI, Power Apps, SAS.

Proficient with MS Access, including experience performing queries.

Experience with Winshuttle, visual basic (VBA) or other automation tools.

Experience using Design Manager (DM), SAP (for work orders, notifications, maintenance plans and FLOC/Equipment review), CMS, SCEGeoView.

Experience with performance metrics (creation and monitoring).

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
