Java Server Developer (JoinOCI-SDE)

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. Building cloud-scale micro services using in house and open source technologies

Designing solutions for integration with Oracle and external Cloud Services

Interfacing with cross functional teams involving QA, Product Management, Operations and Support

Working in an agile pod following the scrum model for developing software

Qualifications:BS/MS and 3 years of professional software engineering experience

Strong Oracle DB, Java, and Unix experience plus security background on authentication, authorization and auditing

Experience with Unix/Linux environments

Experience in Cloud development

Experience with SCIM and RESTful services and Java client development

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Messaging framework like Kafka, Oracle AQ

Experience in Cloud diagnostics and monitoring tools like Kibana, Graphite and Grafana

Experience with OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect or any Security and Identity protocol

Experience working on a SaaS or PaaS product

Experience with Scrum and Agile Development methodologies

Experience with Performance, Scalability and Micro services

Prior development experience in Open Source communities

Worked on Application servers Weblogic or Grizzly
