The Managing Director of Client Development will inspire, grow, and lead an organization of client-centric professionals in all aspects of Epsilon Digital Media Solutions. From spearheading client engagements with Fortune 1000 brands to leading key strategic decisions for the organization, this role will have the responsibility of building and delivering long-term growth and success towards Epsilon’s revenue goals.The Managing Director will be responsible for working cross functionally across our disciplines (media, strategy, creative, data and tech), managing, mentoring, and growing the team and have full visibility and input into client financials and profitability. In addition, navigating strategic partnerships across the entirety of Publicis Groupe are key aspects to success in this role.What you’ll be doing:Leading Digital Media strategy that grows current clients and leading sales strategy for emerging trends in the market to align solutionsAbility to motivate, lead and drive a “growth mindset” for the digital teamActive participation in new business opportunities, growing current clients includes client-facing scoping, estimation, presentations, etc.Responsible for the financial health of the media practice including, but not limited to, team utilization and contribution margin at the account, team, and individual levelAccountable for driving results against multitude of goals across the funnel and tracking progress toward goals and commitments at an executive levelOptimize ways of working and processes to support operational efficiency, team expansion and satisfactionNavigating the client’s internal structure, which will include considerable in-person time, identifying and partnering with key stakeholders on any given project, and facilitating broad communication across a matrixed organizationQuickly and effectively clearing roadblocks that may pop up for any one or group of the client teams, so ensure they can meet or exceed expectations and be effectivePlaying a variety of supporting roles (active and leading vs. passive and there-if-needed, along with everything in between) in any of dozens of meetings with the client, at several levels of seniorityLead executive level communication and strategic planning, nurturing, and advancing relationships with key business stakeholdersExperience in building a team and developing leaders and sellers that drive the growth with the teamExperiences you’ll bring:15 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or mediaUnderstanding of broader Digital Media Landscape in the USEntrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, business acumen and pragmatismStrategic vision in leading the media org and key clientsAbility to lead cross-cultural, cross-functional and nation-wideExecutive-level client management and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentProven experience developing high performing sales cultureHigh emotional intelligence with ability to communicate assertively and handle challenging situations in a constructive manner
