Lumber yard help

The A. Johnson Co is looking to expand our lumber operation and we have a potential spot open for another great candidate to join our team.

Responsibilities will include stacking lumber coming directly from the mill as well as kiln dried lumber being prepared to go to customers, running boards through our planners and ripsaws, running machinery to stack and move lumber. There are openings and room for advancement into other areas of our operation such as driving fork trucks, loading and unloading kilns, operating log loaders and excavators with swivel grapples, working in the band mill, making hardwood flooring and paneling. There are also various other potential tasks around the facility, including possibly lumber grading and working in our retail operation. Experience is not necessary for entry level positions, but very helpful, and specific equipment experience and talent will be considered for pay rate. We also do in house training for all aspects of the job, just bring a good positive attitude and willingness to learn.
