Meeting House Host Quechee, VT, USA Part-Time, 10a - 6p, days flexible

Be part of the story of Vermontʼs oldest craft distillery by providing memorable experiences for guests, adorers and employees alike.

Do you enjoy hosting gatherings and curating a discovery experience with new friends? Vermont Spirits Distilling Co needs to add to our team, a friendly soul ready to share our story and products with visitors 21 or older.

VSDC crafts a portfolio of spirits, sourced from Vermont agriculture, without additives or preservatives. Our offerings are hand made in small batch production runs designed and engineered in-house. As a Meeting House Host your role will be to engage visitors to sample the award-winning spirits, enlist them in our stories, process their purchases and ensure every guest has a great experience.

Responsibilities:

Host guests in their discovery of an authentic Vermont "liquid-to-lips" experience

Prepare the Meeting House for opening and closing each shift

Maintain compliance with all laws and regulations for purchasing and sampling of alcohol

Adhere to all safety protocols for maintaining the health of co-workers and guests

Process payments for products

Recap the day's activity

Participate in mandatory industry trainings as prescribed by VTLCB and OSHA

Assist as requested during various stages of production (bottling, labeling, etc)

Qualifications:

Previous experience welcoming and engaging customers.

Excellent conversational verbal communication skills.

Described by others as trustworthy, dependable and takes pride in being a utility player on the team.

Is personally passionate about the environment and the glorious Upper Valley.
