AECOM is seeing a Structural Engineer III with a PE license for a confidential project in Washington, D.C. that starts up in September. Duties and responsibilities vary and may increase according to grade level. This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Responsible for managing and overseeing forensic engineering studies, and design, for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities, including utility systems, utilizing a professional knowledge of civil/structural engineering. And IAW PWS task 5.4.1Provide non-discretionary support to the Government in their development of technical requirements for A/E services such as gathering information, providing reviews, analyses, advice, opinions, ideas, recommendations and other non-discretionary tasks that will be overseen by the Government. Assist the Government in conducting their site evaluations and field surveys. Provide non-discretionary support to the Government with their development of draft scopes of work, cost estimates analyse, and schedules for A/E services. Provide non-discretionary support to the Government in their acquisition efforts such as tracking and monitoring; drafting reports, reviews, analyses (to include cost estimate analyses, unit takeoffs), recommendations; scheduling meetings; and other non-discretionary tasks that will be overseen by the Government. The Contractor may use RSMeans data or an equivalent construction cost estimating program to provide baseline construction estimating cost data. Conduct design technical reviews from initial concept to 100% design drawings.Participate in risk analysis walk throughs and value engineering efforts.Support consultation efforts with regulatory agencies and acquisitions of permits.Track and maintain submittal review process.Support the scheduling and documentation of design related meetings.Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) and Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) products to develop supportive documents for use by other government contractors (OGCs) and customers.Support in compilation of as-built documents working with enterprise Facility Information Center (eFIC).Provide engineering support and analysis to the Government in their management of awarded study and design contracts.Review the contractor’s work and provide written reports of the findings to the Government
