Our strengths are integrated across the data analytics lifecycle, from data acquisition and management, to analysis and decision support.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a motivated and talented undergrad intern eager to gain practical experience in cybersecurity with the focus on energy sector of critical infrastructure, national security, and web application design, development, and security scanning. Candidate will work closely with our experienced team, learning and supporting cybersecurity for both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems.Their work may include:

Assisting in designing and developing web applications using Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Analyzing and storing vulnerability assessment results.

Participating in the development and administration of online surveys to improve cybersecurity awareness and training.

The student will gain extensive knowledge on:

Critical Infrastructure Protection for two or more domains

Web application scanning.

Research within a multi-disciplinary environment (IT, OT, cybersecurity)

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Candidates must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university.

Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience, or a desire to learn IT, OT, and critical infrastructure protection

Experience, or desire to learn web application vulnerability scanning

Demonstrated experience with python, HTML/CSS, or JavaScript

Basic understanding of AWS services or cloud computing

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Pursing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields

Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
