Job DescriptionWe're currently on the hunt for an experienced Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and Project Control, to join our team. The Manager will be responsible for both FP&A and Project Control functions, reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting. You will be critical in managing financial planning, developing comprehensive financial models, and overseeing project control activities. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
Oversee financial planning and analysis efforts for government contracts
Develop comprehensive financial models to support decision-making
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Participate in budget and forecast preparation
Project Control:
Serve as a liaison between the customer, project manager, and internal leadership
Monitor the project budget and coordinate with finance to accurately capture all billable and non-billable activities
Manage the P&L for departments, customers, and projects
Generate monthly trend analysis reports on customers
Conduct risk management related to customer funding in collaboration with the Contracts department
Support project managers with accounts receivable collections
Compute the GSA Quarterly Fee Calculation
Add charge codes to billable employee profiles and submit them for review.
QualificationsUS Citizenship requiredWhat skills are required?
Bachelor-s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A and project control, preferably within the cybersecurity or government contracting industries
Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
Proven understanding of financial statistics and GAAP principles
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to manage and guide employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used. One of the key responsibilities of this position will be effective people management. The ideal candidate will be expected to lead a diverse team in the future, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. They will be responsible for employee development, including mentoring and coaching, performance evaluations, and handling any team conflicts that may arise.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90-110k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
