Senior Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Orlando, FL. As a Senior Engineer, you will utilize your experience in network and security design, implementation, and troubleshooting in complex environments. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data/security networks The Senior Network Engineer will be working with members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutions Routing, switching, wireless, and security configuration and deployment in an enterprise environment Provide network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design, and implementation of secure networking environments The Senior Network Engineer will assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptanceREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience 5+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks Experience with complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must) Network protocols including a combination of OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP is essential along with experience with HSRP, 802.11, Radius, TACACS+, and SNMPAdditional Desired Skills: CCNA or CCNP certification Complex Wireless Solutions - Cisco Firewalls/VPN Solutions - Palo Alto, FortinetThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
