How You Will Contribute:

As a Hayden Homes Land Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, researching and contracting new land opportunities suitable for acquisition and development.

Responsibilities Include:

Analysis: Perform growth & needs analysis to drive topline strategy by isolating gaps in the land pipeline. Develop action plans to address regional needs.

Land Purchase: Strategically identify and secure control of new land opportunities. Locate land suitable for acquisition and development by conducting necessary market research and due diligence.

Contract Administration: Facilitate administration of active land deals from execution through closing.

How You Will Succeed:

You are able to think strategically and weigh each land option through a combination of analysis, creativity, and realism to choose the appropriate action or plan. You must have strong interpersonal skills, and are able to easily build trust and relationships within the community. You are a strong communicator who can present to, and interact with, a wide variety of audiences. You are willing and able to travel as necessary.

What You Can Offer:

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

Abilities:

Communication: Ability to communicate the status of land transactions clearly to a variety of audiences. 

Decision Making: Ability to arrange for land purchases on behalf of the company.

Relationship Building: Ability to interact with landowners, community members, and local governments.

Must have the ability to be open, friendly, and build relationships and trust in the community.

Negotiating: Ability to negotiate dynamically and successfully across a broad spectrum of product type and

potential deal structures.

Organization: Ability to stay organized and maintain accurate records of land transactions.

Speaking: Ability to present and speak to a wide variety of audiences.

Experience: Real estate / development experience preferred.
