Bryson Sales & Service of Washington is seeking a highly detailed, motivated, personable individual to work year-round as a part-time Receptionist/Assistant Accounting Clerk, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Bryson, a BlueBird school bus dealer, is a stable, family-owned, small business operating in Washington since 2009.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides administrative/clerical support, including, but not limited to, copying, filing, data entry, order verification, letter/forms composition/editing and general basic support for accounting and sales departments.
Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls promptly and deliver phone messages to appropriate staff when necessary.
Pleasantly greet and direct visitors to appropriate staff member and answer inquiries from the public.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
Assist with inputting data into the accounting system to ensure all invoices are paid accurately and timely.
Assist with maintaining accounts payable and receivable files.
Maintain files of all invoice copies.
Mail/fax/email invoice copies to customers, as requested.
Assist the Sales Administrator with vehicle titling and licensing
Assist with maintaining customer contacts.
Ensure front office coverage at all times during scheduled shift.
Manage all office non-computer equipment (e.g., postage meter, copier, fax, etc.)
Responsible for ensuring adequate office, equipment and lunchroom supplies and the replenishing of each.
Maintain tidiness of common areas, including lobby, kitchen and conference room,
Perform other assigned duties as assigned that are in the best interest of the company and/or employee.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes and have a valid driver license with a clean record. 3-year Drivers Abstract must be provided.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to interact professionally across all departments within the company as well as with customers, vendors, and public.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and within deadlines
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including ability to navigate the internet, and manage simple databases.
Computer skills must include basic Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Outlook, Excel.
10-Key proficient.
Punctuality and reliability mandatory.
Accounts payable and/or receivable experience a plus.
Minimum of 1-year office-related experience.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
