Janitor / Housekeeper- Apt Buildings

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor. This position is to maintain 3 apartment buildings along with 2 other janitors. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.

Perform general sanitizing and cleaning of all areas of the building as directed, carpet hallways and stairs, bathrooms etc

Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, sidewalks and common areas

Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders

Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up

Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests

Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

2+ years janitorial experience (negotiable)

Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts

Ability to work well under minimal supervision

Capacity to take direction

Strong attention to detail

Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
