This work includes shipping and receiving operations, mail delivery, supply chain management, warehouse processes, move management, property accountability, heavy equipment management, and automotive fleet support. Venturi has relevant past performance to meet this customer’s requirements. Starting in 2008, Venturi has provided logistics, deployment, and sustainment operations to various Department of Defense customers.The Site Supervisor will work independently or under the general direction of senior level contractor management on all phases of performance, including contract management, program/task management, coordination of workloads and resource needs, and coordination with corporate resources and management. The Site Supervisor has direct accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness, and quality or work performed under the contract.Responsibilities

Direct and review work performed to meet all contract requirements.

Authority to discipline contractor personnel employed under this contract.

As appropriate, make recommendations to the COR and GPOC for new or proposed revisions of work produced to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Provide or direct on-the-job training to newly assigned personnel, as required, to promote operational efficiency.

Direct data gathering for various productivity reports as defined in this contract.

Resolve working level complaints and/or problems regarding work performed; resolving all other operational problems within the scope of this contract; and preparing responses within established time frames to all written service complaints received by the COR.

Develop and implement quality control procedures, monitor the work produced under this contract, and initiate corrective actions to ensure conformance with established standards and procedures.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Associate degree preferred

5+ years of experience as a team lead or similar position. Must also have 5+ years of experience in the logistics industry

Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong technical capacity and ability to accurately complete all documentation.

Extensive knowledge of customer service best practices with ability to resolve issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain productivity both independently and collaboratively.

Capable of multi-tasking and effectively managing programs as a proficient problem solver and teamwork supporter.

Detail-oriented with great organizational and time management skills with the ability to delegate and assign tasks.

Ability to coach and mentor other employees.

Working knowledge of standard technology used in the industry (e.g., POS, program tracking, bookkeeping, word processing).

Top Secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of logistics and life-cycle management principles, concepts, policies, and regulations.

Working knowledge of contractual processes, procedures, and technical requirements as it applies to logistical support.

Expert ability to meet and deal with customers using a high degree of tact and diplomacy.

Ability to manage and supervise a work force.

Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, to include writing and preparing memorandums, letters, briefings, and other official correspondence.

Knowledge, skill, and ability in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), as well as other applications as necessary.
