Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope. Leads efforts to identify best practices.
Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
This position will be
responsible for creating and implementing fee schedules and associated
changes. This is likely on an annual basis, but depending on company
objectives, this could vary. This work will include modeling and
determination of fee schedules that may need to be certain corporate goals and
criteria. The work required for new codes and fee schedule modifications
is ongoing. This is for the Virginia fee schedule which means all requirements
of the Virginia Fair Business Practices Act must be met when making these
changes. Good math and analytical skills will be helpful for this
position. The ability to work within tight timeframes with large amounts
of data will also be required. Sharing of the modeling scenarios and
planning will also fall within the position – this sharing is to the broader
Provider Solutions team in addition to senior VA leadership or others as neededQualifications Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
