Structural Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to be based in Houston, TX. Job Description Summary:  You will be joining of a global team of 500+ maritime specialists who support on a wide range of maritime developments including container terminals, LNG facilities, waterfront developments, cruise and ferry terminals, marinas and harbors as well as coastal schemes such as beach development and coastal protection schemes. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, coastal defense and development schemes.Structural design for wharves, piles, sheet piles, dolphins, across the United States.Independently prepare engineering related calculations and develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details.Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Provides guidance to entry level engineers.Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
