You will be responsible for safety, quality, production, shipping & receiving and maintenance on an assigned shift.1st Shift Position Available! Summary Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Leadership role model in terms of professional behaviors and personal accountability.Promotes a safe work environment.Follow production and control standards.Promote good personal relations.Ensure production of quality parts at the lowest possible cost while adhering to production standards.Coordinate with other areas to meet goals.Ensure equipment is in properly working order.Provide accurate and timely information of performance administrative work.Meet long and short-range plans.Ensure materials and supplies are available when required to execute daily plans.Act as a positive role model and act as mentor and coach to assigned production staff.Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Follow, enforce and support 5S principles.Assign and execute daily and weekly production schedule.Re-enforce adherence to standards (QCPs, policies and procedures, etc.) through coaching and routine follow up.Ensure safe, high-quality, cost-efficient performance of work.Ensure staff receives adequate training for the operations assigned to them.Complete Corrective Actions to improve area.Communicate/document with employees on performance; assist employees in achieving performance expectations.Perform midyear & annual employee performance reviews.Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.Provide accurate and timely performance feedback to management.Score favorably in compliance audits of MOS Overall Utilization Assessment.Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.Resolve performance/disciplinary issues with employees in coordination with the Human Resources. Follow MOS Principals supplied by management.Supervisory Responsibilities                                                       Directly supervises employees.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsInspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignmentEnforces company policies, rules, safety, and environmental regulations.Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.Maintains time and production records.Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.Confers with other management to coordinate production activities with other departmentsResponsible for documenting shift incidents and accidents using the appropriate plant or corporate form.Responsible for ensuring the employees on the shift are wearing the correct PPECompetencies                                                  To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem Solving - Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.Teamwork - Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.Visionary Leadership - Inspires respect and trust; Provides vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates.Leadership - Inspires and motivates others to perform well; Effectively influences actions and opinions of others; Gives appropriate recognition to others.Managing People - Takes responsibility for subordinates' activities; Develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth.Diversity - Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment.Ethics - Treats people with respect; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Supports organization's goals and values.Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
