About us
Associated General Contractors of Wyoming is the leading construction industry advocates.
Our Association is looking for a Director of Government Affairs who provides information on legislative and regulatory issues in Wyoming and Washington D.C. to facilitate the Association's and members lobbying efforts. Monitors and researches legislation and regulatory issues, prepares summaries, includes a "bill tracking" during session and coordinates Association communication with members, legislators, and regulators. Lobbies and attends legislative and regulatory meetings on issues affecting Association members. Routinely promotes and facilitates member relations with legislators and governmental agencies.
Responsibilities:
· Build/maintain strong relationships with Wyoming Legislators
· Keep aware of all legislation that could affect Association members
· Lead legislative committee meetings with members
· Organize and guide members when testifying
· Build/maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies in the State, counties and municipalities
· Be aware of regulations that could affect Association members
· Report regularly to the board on any legislation or regulatory changes that affect member’s industries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cheyenne, WY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
