LOW VOLTAGE INSTALL TRAINEE

Custom Audio Video, a smart home design and installation firm, is looking for a trainee. We are an established company that has been in business locally for over 30 years. We serve the clientele of Eagle County, CO (Vail, Beaver Creek and surrounding areas).

This is a full time, long term job that is not dependent on the tourism industry to survive.

Would you like to learn to install and program Audio-Video, Networks and Advanced Control Systems? (residential control systems [light climate, automatic shades, AV], telephone, network, alarm, and home theater systems).

You must have great references, a good job history (or school records) and be able to think and work independently.

You'll need to be able to professionally interact with both the clientele and other employees and represent our company's high level of customer service and attention to detail.

You must:

Be a motivated team player with positive attitude

Desire to learn and deliver high-quality work

Have customer service skills

Have a clean, professional appearance

Be proficient working with hand tools and power tools

Have the ability to work on ladders

Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Have or will acquire own tools. We have a program to help you with this.

Be able to lift and move furniture and work in basements, attics and crawl spaces

Have a sense of humor. And patience.

You will learn how to, along with other skills:

Mount TVs, screens and projectors

Pre-wire for and install racks for networks and complex integrated systems

Install lighting control and home control systems

Trouble-shoot audio, video, and control system issues
