Therapeutic Foster Care Case Aide and Family Engagement Facilitator

Position Title: Therapeutic Foster Care Case Aide/Family Engagement Facilitator

FLSA Status: Full Time Non Exempt

Required Travel: Local Moderate to High 30-90%

Salary: $15.50/hr

This position is a full time position that encompasses two related but separate jobs.

Position Summary Case Manager

The Case Manager is responsible for the case coordination of foster clients and foster parents. The Case Manager is responsible for ensuring that Foster Children are receiving adequate care and are functioning to the best of their abilities within the foster care home and the community by clients and their families in establishing effective networks (social, communicative, and supportive) as well as assuring the smooth operation of each case.

Family Engagement Facilitator

The Family Engagement Facilitator will be responsible for scheduling, coordination, preparing participants and facilitating family engagement meetings, permanency roundtable staffing and other meetings as needed to assist children from becoming wards of the county or to move cases more efficiently toward permanency and optimum safe outcomes.

Education Requirements

Preferred

1. Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences.

OR

1. Bachelor’s degree in a non-social or behavior science. Two years experience supervised by an individual with a MSW or other Masters Degree in the social or behavioral sciences.

Certifications and Licenses

Required

1. Valid Regular Drivers License, with acceptable driving record.

2. CPR, 1st Aid, CPI, SIP, QMAP, etc as outlined by supervisor.

SAFE Studies Certification
