Job Summary
Provides respiratory care using critical thinking skills learned and refined through education and experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Demonstrates these skills by successfully completing examinations administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and earning the credential CRT.
Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Performs other job duties as assigned.
Education
Description Minimum Required Preferred / Desired State licensure and / or "CRT" credential in accordance to the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current state license.
Experience
Description Minimum Required Preferred / Desired Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing facility) and / or previous respiratory care practice.
Current state license. 1 year hospital experience.
Licensure
Description Minimum Required Preferred / Desired Successful completion of entry level exam for RCPs. Prefer someone who is eligible to sit for the NBRC advanced practitioner exam for RRT. BLS;CRT ACLS
