DescriptionWe are currently seeking talented and detailed-oriented Business Operations Analyst to join our team in support of U.S. Coast Guard Modernized Learning Management System. This is a fully REMOTE job opportunity.The successful candidate will leverage their organizational skills and technical expertise to assist the project manager and team with business operations to ensure t ensure smooth progress and alignment with project and business objectives. Your talents, perspectives, and efforts will contribute directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and ensure positive mission outcomes.Job Description:Work with the Project Manager in developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.Evaluate and present alternatives for establishing or changing the budget allocations for new or existing projects.Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers.Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares all weekly, monthly, and quarterly contractual reports.Provide assistance/expertise in drafting procurement documentation to purchase software, whatever else. Track software licenses.Assist in the financial monitoring, oversight and reporting (e.g., personnel travel; tracking commitments, obligations and expenditures; contractor cost data, burn rates, trends, shortfalls, etc.)Support various onboarding activities for new team members including office identification, equipment coordination, badging requests, paperwork collection, etc.Provide assistance/expertise in drafting procurement documentation to purchase software, hardware, services, etc. Track and monitor purchases from initial request to proof of delivery/goods receipt while maintaining communication with stakeholders to prevent deadline delaysQualificationsRequired:Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.Advanced experience with Microsoft Office – Excellent abilities utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Some working knowledge in Microsoft Project a plus.Must be attentive to detail, extremely well organized, strong time management skills, able to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet frequent deadlines.Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance.Strong IT working knowledge.Preferred:Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, and ProjectTarget salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
