Automation Engineer

Description:The Automation engineer is responsible for the design and layout of electrical systems and equipment in relation to overall machines, equipment and processes. This will include laying out where specific components (PLC's, HMI's, sensors, aux systems, wires and panels) will physically be located on machines or equipment. This work will be done in AutoCAD.Skills:autocad, autocad electrical, electrical schematics, layout, machine layout, controls, hmi, plc, panel layoutTop Skills Details:autocad, autocad electrical, electrical schematics, layout, machine layout, controls, hmi, plc, panel layoutAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Musts: - Must have at least an AS degree (or are in process of completing) in electrical/electronics - must have at least 1 year of previous AutoCAD experience - must have at least 1 year of previous experience in electrical system drafting/design/layout Plus: - more than 2 years of experience designing electrical systems including PLC/HMI design - more than 2 years of panel layout - previous AutoCAD Electrical experienceExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
