As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.Reporting to the Metal Coating Lines Asset Manager, your position will bring a high level of technical expertise that will work in conjunction with multiple other Electrical Maintenance Coordinators to aid the overarching departments with their maintenance requirements across a wide array of electrical equipment.What Will You Do?As an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator, you will plan and deliver electrical asset maintenance to meet the challenges of keeping the common systems across the Metal Coating Lines Operational. You will deliver a cost-effective and quality-focused maintenance function to the MCL maintenance department, manage associated costs and drive maintenance improvement. In this technically inclined role, you will:ensure alignment of maintenance activities to support the business including budget management and effective and compliant maintenance documentationact as a technical expert to the whole department offering your expertise to the teamprovide leadership to internal trades and contractorsbe the switch room owner for the department as well as the diesel generators, cooling systems, PLC’s and drive systemsexecute regular maintenance for continuous line operation plan and coordinate significant repairs, maintenance projects and asset improvement workMore About You As an experienced electrician, you will have strong demonstrated skills and knowledge in asset maintenance, be skilled in problem-solving and experienced in RCA methodology, maintenance planning and bring a good understanding of modern manufacturing processes.You will also possess the following:electrical Trade or Diploma qualificationselectrical qualification supervisor licence (NSW) strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills drive for team results, with a high level of technical acumenhighly developed interpersonal, change management and problem solving skills gained from experience within a similar environmenta strong safety focus encompassing people, plant and systemsWhy BlueScopeAs BlueScope continues to go from strength to strength, a career with us provides you with the opportunity to grow and be rewarded.
