Patient Services AssistantLocation: Columbus, OH 43212Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pmPay: $15-16.67/hrQualifications:Basic understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), with ability to learn and maintain a good working knowledge of FDA regulations and company/client SOPs and SOPs

Good organizational skills and flexibility to manage workload and meet changing timelines, handling multiple tasks efficiently and effectively

Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data entry

Good interpersonal/customer service skills, positive attitude, and good oral and written communication

Capable of working in a team or independently

Good English language and grammar skills written and verbal

Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and capable of learning new clinical trial database systems

Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job with general administrative, clinical research administration experience

Position Overview:Supports site by coordinating and assisting patients visiting the site.

Act as the first-line contact for patients.

May assist with patient expense reimbursement and transport arrangements.

Coordinates and oversees and completes administrative functions on assigned trials.

Welcome and assist all visitors on arrival at the site, notifies clinical or other staff of the visitor arrival

Prepare and ensure all relevant patient files are ready ahead of the visit as per protocol and local regulations

Completes data entry and visit completion information.

Assist with the collection of patient SDV from treating medical professional

Schedules patients for different types of visits, external appointments, transport, etc.

Conducts reminder telephone calls to patients to confirm visits.

Collects, tracks and file patient notes, lab results and questionnaires to facilitate prompt reviewing and able to provide results to patient if required

Maintains a presentable, safe and clean reception area to enhance the patient and visitor experience.

Responsible for photocopying, faxing, scanning source documents, postal activities, archiving and patient refreshments.

Assist with the reimbursement of patient study expenses and payments

Maintains strict confidentiality of patients, employees, customers and company information at all times and adheres to HIPAA Guidelines

Any other duties as may be assigned
