Job Description

  • Develop an understanding and expertise of Cricut’s internal controls over financial reporting
  • Understand and report the accounting for Inventory (reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)
  • Understand and report the accounting for Fixed Assets (reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)
  • Contribute to the Controller group with projects as assigned
  • Document and define technical processes using Accounting guidance from various sources
  • Develop the ability to understand and write complex accounting memorandums where necessary
  • Contribute to the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for external audits as performed by the outside accounting firm
  • Develop an understanding and expertise of Cricut’s internal controls over financial reporting
  • Perform a number of roles and responsibilities in the Company’s Treasury function
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with reporting requirements to the Company’s Lenders
  • Contribute to the Controller group with projects as assigned
  • Participate in managing the Company’s Purchase Order process from the finance team
  • Document and define technical processes using Accounting guidance from various sources
  • Develop the ability to understand and write complex accounting memorandums where necessary
  • Contribute to the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for external audits as performed by the outside accounting firm

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written communication
  • Be a self-starter, capable of working independently
  • Maintain high attention to detail even while working on repetitive tasks

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration (with an Accounting emphasis) from an accredited institution. CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounting. Public accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience understanding the Accounting environments of companies within the consumer products and technology industries
  • Proven track record of excelling within team environments
