Religious Services and Volunteer Coordinator 30-40 hrs Per Week

Idaho Non-Profit looking to hire (30 to 40 hours per week)

Position: Religious Services and Volunteer Coordinator in Cottonwood or Orofino- Idaho Department of Correction facility (Men).

Employment would be with the Non-Profit, but the role requires that the candidate must pass a background check, and meet all Idaho Department of Correction requirements for employment.

Specific requirements and job duties include: Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers, maintain background checks for all volunteers, attend regular training, represent offender's religious needs, complete daily logs and monthly detailed reports, attend monthly staff meetings, study and understand IDOC policy, observe and supervise religious services, and must be able to maintain professional and impartial standards at all times.

Skills needed include: Good computer skills, must be comfortable with word, excel, outlook, and able to use access to update daily logs and complete monthly reports. Problem solving and conflict management skills are a must, and excellent communication skills are needed.

Attitude needed: Humble, confident, teachable, willing to study and learn, self-motivated, leader, someone who follows through.

Education needed: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but all candidates will be considered according to experience, and skill set. All who believe they fit the criteria listed are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in corrections is a plus.
