Find your future with us.The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) group is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA.This position will support the Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) group. The role will require coordination with MATES and various business units across the Boeing enterprise to provide quality support. The successful candidate will join a geographically disperse and multidisciplinary MATES team that is responsible for calibration and certification support of advanced manufacturing, satellite production, and test & evaluation activities. MATES provide a full spectrum of test asset and metrology services and support for internal customers and products through all phases of the product lifecycle. MATES is comprised of engineers, technicians and administrative personnel who support programs, sites, business units and external/government customers by providing best value test asset management and metrology services through all phases of the product lifecycle.Support includes:

Demonstration of CAPA elements, internal and external compliance and audit inquiries

BPSM and RCCA activities and leadership

MATES leadership integration for quality

Acting as SME for AS9100D, MATES Quality Program, and MATES alignment with other Boeing BU Quality Plans

Assessment of risk across MATES processes, and development and deployment of quality and improvement plans

MATES Self Assessment process, including risk assessment

MATES Cost of Poor Quality process

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Mid-Level Quality Systems Specialist.Position Responsibilities:

Supports Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development

Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed

Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions

Conducts inspections, evaluations, research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability

Develops Quality criteria for supplier source selection and a coordinated response for review and approval by senior management

Develops scope, schedule, plans and leads hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to management

Trains senior management on preparation for third party audits

Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for complex nonconforming materials, parts and equipment

Assists in the development of new standard repairs for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment

Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.§120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Do you meet this requirement?Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

1+ years of experience in Quality, Metrology, and/or Quality Management Systems

Experience with Microsoft office suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ years of experience in quality, lab test and/or metrology

Experience AS9100D Quality Management System

Experience in ISO/IEC 17025 Standard
