Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Entry Level Production Equipment Maintenance Technician (Level A) to support the Production Equipment Maintenance organization in North Charleston, South Carolina.This position is for variable shift and will support Boeing South Carolina locations including the North Charleston Airport Campus and Ladson Facilities depending on business needs. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual willing and able to work any shift including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.Position Responsibilities :

Repairs and maintains equipment and demonstrates experience in these areas.

Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Follows safety procedures and regulations.

basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Utilizes a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair equipment.

Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

May receive specialized equipment training.

May provides training to peers and customers on the general use of equipment when applicable.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance

1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters

1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Experience in a customer facing role

Must be willing and able to work any shift including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience ):

Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley

Experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley)

Experience working in a manufacturing environment
