Primary Purpose: Oversees the processes and personnel supporting the payment of NS vendor invoices. Principal Duties:
Responsible for oversight of all accounting processes supporting payments to NS' vendors.
Maintains accurate and timely reporting associated with payments being processed.
Reviews accounts, performs daily balancing of payables, and prepares account reconciliations.
Maintains adequate supply of ink cartridges and check stock.
Reviews and validates vendor tax information and prepares Form 1099’s annually.
Ensures preparation of Electronic Data Interchange/Automated Clearing House requests, vendor checks, and initiates escheat processes.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payments are made.
Identifies areas for process improvement and makes recommendations for changes.
Ensures work is performed in accordance with current regulatory requirements, corporate policy, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and documented internal controls.
