Description Job Summary:As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health of our organization. This position requires a high level of financial expertise and responsibility, as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial records, from day-to-day transactions to financial reporting. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statements.
Accounts Payable: Process and review vendor invoices, ensure accurate coding, and manage payment processing. Monitor and reconcile vendor statements.
Accounts Receivable: Generate and send customer invoices, track customer payments, and manage collections. Ensure timely and accurate recording of receivables.
Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Monitor cash flow and account balances.
Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and on time, including tax withholding, benefit deductions, and direct deposits. Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide financial reports to management and assist with budget preparation.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, such as variance analysis and cost tracking, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, including reviewing employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) proficiently for data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and information.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
