Inventory Service Clerk

Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to keep track of goods and services and manage orders to facilitate sales or production. As the Inventory Clerk you will be signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. Managing all inconsistencies in documents

Getting prices and estimates from vendors and then comparing costs

Spending time collaborating with the inventory analyst and purchasing manager

Placing inventory orders for vendors and suppliers and then securing shipment arrival times

Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records

Entering data into the system

Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products

Counting and classifying items Requirements - Knowledge of the range of company products and services

A minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent

1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred

High attention to detail as well as problem solving skills

Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Experience using inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets
