Operate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Be a part of the development of design of information and operational support systems

Effectively guarantee the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Head and keep a close watch on all installed systems and infrastructure

Screen and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, specify possible solutions, and act jointly with developers to apply those fixes

Write down and keep up custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

Administrate backup, security, and redundancy strategies

Install, maintain, configure, and test operating systems, application software and system management tools

Give 2nd and 3rd level support

Requirements - We are particularly looking for candidates with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems

5+ years of relevant experience - We are particularly looking for candidates who have experience with virtualization and containerization

It is preferred for applicants to have solid networking knowledge

We are particularly looking for candidates who have solid scripting skills

Candidates experience with monitoring systems will be the best fit for this position

Firewall Technologies experience

Practical knowledge of Router Switches

Microsoft Azure experience highly desired

Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Office 365

Proven knowledge of LAN (local area networks)

Cisco Hardware experience

Well-founded grasp of WANs (Wide Area Network)

Solid understanding of Vmware Technologies

General familiarity with Cisco Routers

This position requires a candidate with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
