Mold Setter

Job Description:

Responsible for all mold changes done per the production schedule and all emergency mold changes

Responsible for the proper set-up of all molds and related functions such as watering of the mold, knockout, hot runner set-up, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.

Set parameters of the molding press to the process verification sheet if applicable

Repair any fluid or air leaks relating to the mold

Responsible for the pulling and resetting of all mold halves, specifically for the purpose of mold repair

Responsible for the loading and unloading of all mold carrying trucks

Responsible for the installation and removal of all auxiliary equipment from the molding floor

Maintain the orderly appearance of the mold storage area

Responsible for the orderly appearance of all mold-setting supplies including the removal of all supplies from the molding machine and immediate area

Responsible for returning the "Red Book" to the Quality area, at the removal of the mold from the press

Ensure all paperwork is completed, submitted and filed in a timely manner

Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)

Comply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures

Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas
